Do you have a Mechanical Engineering degree or interested in gaining some expereince in the quality control side of mechanical engineering then this placement is for you!!!
The succesful candidate will ensure that the TX4 Taxi Cab is being assembled to the correct standard. This includes:
Completeing a fixing audit - ensuring that all types of fixings, fasteners and associated materials that are being used in the assembly process are correct to the Bill of Material, Quality Standards and Part Numbers correspond to what is required.
Ensuring that the Assembly Operators are using the correct tooling for each assembly process by comparing the assembly method with the process sheet.
Issues or non compliances found are to be recorded and fed back to the Quality/Engineering department.
Some of the other principle duties in the role are:
Meticulous interrogation of parts lists and drawings against Process Sheets
Timely and accurate reporting of issues or non compliances found
This will include the responsibility for updating the Quality Management Process (QMP) database which provides a systematic process for recording, defining and progressing through to conclusion quality issues that may be raised by either, issues found during production or in the supply chain
Also involvement in maintaining and updating the Problem Status Report (PSR) register would be required.
