VCN is a Charity whose mission is to keep peoples voices healthy and to communication effectively. It was started over 10 years ago and it's primary focus is on prevention rather than cure through the provision of training workshops to help those in high risk occupations maintain a healthy, effective voice; namely teachers, lecturers, call centre works, media, lawyers, business trainers. Workshops are focused on two elements 1) Vocal Care / Health 2) Vocal skills; how to use your voice to influence / manage your audience.
Due to limited resources, the existing marketing has been focused only on schools; there are over 500,000 teachers in primary and secondary schools. However, the organisation aims to develop business in at least two other key markets; Further Education (FE) and Call Centres.
They are seeking a proactive, creative and trustworthy individual to work on a Web Design and Development Project. This role will initially last 8 weeks, part-time.
To support the ongoing promotion of the business, they are looking to upgrade and modernise the current website to be more customer and market focused. Using a suite of new marketing materials and imagery, you will be responsible for making the site more user friendly and accessible.
