It is a very fast growing company and they are keen to give early responsibility to develop the right people quickly. With their own ambitious expansion plans this is an exciting company to work for. Initially a 6 month graduate placement there could be long term opportunities for the right candidates.

Principle duties and responsibilities

One placement opportunitity have become available, to work on two separate project/operations placements within the company in different regions.

The second project is the optimisation of existing logistics operations, looking at reducing costs, indentifying efficiencies, implementing new concepts and suggesting ways of improving the overall service.

The placement will also require the graduate to work on improving ongoing quality processes and will also include some auditing training.

The graduate needs to have a high standard of Word/PowerPoint/Excel.

They also need to be able to develop rapport with and deal with people at all levels, as they will often be off site and dealing with clients, construction staff and contractors supporting the build of the new centre and optimisation of current projects.

They need to be confident in their own ability, assertive and able to deal with disagreements and still argue their case.

Regular travel between sites in Oxford, Crewe and Lichfield will be required therefore s driving license and car is essential.

Knowledge of ISO 9001(Quality Legislation)

Understanding of Logistics and Warehousing principles.

Understanding of lean manufacturing and JIT

They will pay all travel costs to visit project sites with daily travel (hour and half) by car required to visit client sites. The company is located in Lichfield, Staffordshire.
