To provide front line support to the business development and marketing team. The role will focus on supporting the Commercial Director, Business Development Manager and Marketing Manager covering a broad range of tasks and responsibilities.

- Updates to the firm's marketing /client relationship data base and sales pipeline
- Undertake detailed desktop research on competitors and clients to support the business development manager and Commercial Director
- Produce sales pipeline reports from the database and other management information as required
- Collate and report on client satisfaction results
- Co-ordinate mailing and e-marketing activities for existing/or prospective clients
- Maintain up to date content for each team on the intranet and public website
- Maintain reports that will allow the Marketing Manager to evaluate the success of individual mailings (e.g. briefs delivered, bounced, opened etc)
- Produce basic marketing copy for inclusion on the website/ brochures and be confident in proof reading materials produced by other members of the team.
- Manage stocks of marketing collateral, brochures etc
- Co-ordinating internal events and liaising with suppliers as necessary e.g caterers etc
- Provide general administration support to commercial director as required including booking tickets, setting up meetings, booking meeting rooms etc.
Essential Skills
- Driven, self motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be adaptable and capable of meeting multiple deadlines in a pressurised environment
- Minimum 1 year working as part of business marketing / business development team
- Experience of completing client / competitor research or client segmentation essential
- Graduate in marketing, communications or business discipline
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience of managing and updating client databases or CRM systems is highly desirable
- Likely to be studying for CIM certificate or diploma
